Water temperature…
Čapljina is widely recognized as one of the warmest and sunniest cities in the country, located in the deep south of Herzegovina, near the Croatian border. The town is frequently and affectionately called the "Flower of Herzegovina" because it is exceptionally rich in parks, well-maintained green spaces, and lush Mediterranean vegetation. Geographically, Čapljina is uniquely shaped by no fewer than four distinct rivers: the Neretva, Trebižat, Bregava, and Krupa, which make the surrounding landscape truly panoramic. The city's economy is heavily focused on agriculture, particularly the intensive cultivation of high-quality fruits, vegetables, and grapevines within the fertile river valleys. A special historical and tourist highlight of the region is the ancient Roman Villa Rustica (Mogorjelo), as well as its close proximity to the Hutovo Blato Nature Park, one of the largest and most vital bird reserves in southeastern Europe.
