Just a few kilometers away lie the massive ruins of the Illyrian megalithic city of Daorson, frequently referred to as the "Mycenae of the Balkans," as well as the world-famous Radimlja necropolis, which houses what is likely the country's most renowned and intricately decorated collection of medieval tombstones (stećci). The warm Mediterranean climate of the region is absolutely convenient for lush pomegranates, figs, and olive trees.
