Priboj is a town in southwestern Serbia, in the Zlatibor District, picturesquely situated on the Lim River. Historically, the town is known as a center of the automotive industry, particularly through the Fabrika Automobila Priboj (FAP), which manufactured trucks and buses. This industrial past continues to shape the character of the town today. Culturally, the proximity to the 13th-century Mileševa Monastery is of great significance, renowned for its frescoes, including the famous 'White Angel'. The surrounding mountainous landscape, especially the Zlatar mountain range, gives numerous opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking and exploring the pristine nature. The best way to get there is by car or bus, as the town is well-connected to Serbia's road network. The best seasons to visit are late spring and summer, when the weather is convenient for enjoying both the cultural sights and the natural beauty of the region.
