Moscow Kremlin (Russia)

Weather…

The Moscow Kremlin is not only the architectural masterpiece of the Russian capital but also the historical and political heart of the entire Russian Federation. The massive red brick walls, featuring their characteristic swallowtail battlements, were designed by Italian architects at the end of the 15th century and enclose an area of 27 hectares. Inside lies the majestic Cathedral Square, where Russian Tsars were once crowned, married, and buried, flanked by the masterpieces of the Assumption, Archangel, and Annunciation Cathedrals. The Grand Kremlin Palace, with its gilded halls, served as a Tsarist residence and today hosts presidential receptions. The Kremlin Armory houses one of the wealthiest treasuries in the world, fascinating visitors with legendary Fabergé eggs, royal carriages, and the jewel-encrusted Monomakh's Cap. The Kremlin remains the indelible symbol of Russian state power.
