Poska is a prominent residential district in the municipality of Triesen, characterized by its exposed hillside location at the foot of the Kulm. The development of this area is closely linked to Liechtenstein's population growth in the 20th century, when new living space had to be created outside the old village core. From Poska, one can enjoy a far-reaching panoramic view across the Rhine Valley to the Swiss Alps of the cantons of St. Gallen and Graubünden. Geographically, the neighborhood lies above the main traffic arteries, giving it a peaceful atmosphere and making it a preferred residential area. The architecture is dominated by modern single-family homes and terraced settlements that were skillfully integrated into the steep terrain. Historically, the slope was largely undeveloped and primarily used as pastureland before modern road access enabled today's settlement. Poska is also an important junction for local mountain hiking trails, which lead directly from here into the higher elevations of the Lawena Valley and towards the Falknis.
