Dzyatlava is a historic small town in the Grodno Region of western Belarus. First mentioned in 1498, the settlement was granted by Grand Duke Alexander of Lithuania to Prince Konstantin Ostrogski, who established a wooden castle there. Later owned by the powerful Sapieha and Radziwiłł families, the town became a notable cultural and administrative center for the nobility. Its architectural profile features the 18th-century Baroque Radziwiłł Palace and the Catholic Church of the Assumption, built in 1646 in the distinctive Vilna Baroque style. During the 19th century, Dzyatlava was home to a bustling Jewish community and numerous artisan workshops. Today, it serves as a regional administrative center, balancing its rich historical heritage with modern infrastructure.
