Mina Clavero
Mina Clavero is the most popular tourist destination in the Traslasierra Valley of Córdoba province. It is renowned for its unpolluted, mineral-rich rivers that form numerous "balnearios" (natural swimming pools) and sandy beaches along their banks. The town is surrounded by the majestic Altas Cumbres mountain range, providing a remarkable backdrop and excellent opportunities for trekking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The local artisans are highly respected for their traditional black pottery. During the summer, the town features an animated nightlife and hosts numerous cultural events. The best time to visit is from December to March to fully enjoy swimming in the rivers. Access is via the incredibly scenic Altas Cumbres route from Córdoba.
