Dzharylhach is the largest uninhabited island in Ukraine and the Black Sea, located across from the resort town of Skadovsk. Spanning 56 square kilometers, it is a national park famous for its pristine sandy beaches and turquoise water, earning it the nickname 'Ukrainian Maldives.' The island's most iconic landmark is its historic lighthouse, built in 1902 and designed by a student of Gustave Eiffel. Dzharylhach is a haven for wildlife; visitors can encounter wild deer, mouflons, and boars roaming freely across the plains. There is no permanent infrastructure like hotels, making it a destination for eco-tourists who stay in tents or visit via day-trip boats.
