Weather…

Jbel Toubkal, reaching an altitude of 4,167 meters, is the highest peak in Morocco, North Africa, and the Arab world. Located in the High Atlas range, approximately 63 kilometers south of Marrakech, it is the centerpiece of the Toubkal National Park, established in 1942. The ascent usually begins from the village of Imlil, which acts as a base camp and is noted for its walnut and apple groves. Geologically, Toubkal consists primarily of volcanic rock, which is significantly more resistant than the surrounding sedimentary formations. The first officially documented European ascent was achieved in 1923 by the Marquis de Ségonzac. In winter, the summit is frequently snow-covered, making it a destination for ski touring, while in summer, it remains a classic route for hikers with no major technical challenges. The mountain holds great significance for the local Berber community and is central to the regional mountain tourism industry. the national park protects rare species such as the Barbary sheep and various eagles.
