Porto Novi is a world-class luxury resort and marina situated in Kumbor along the Bay of Kotor, developed on the site of a former Yugoslav naval base. This major infrastructure project represents Montenegro's strategic pivot towards high-end tourism, involving a total investment exceeding 820 million euros. It is home to the first One&Only hotel in Europe and features a sophisticated marina with 238 berths capable of accommodating superyachts up to 120 meters in length. Beyond its hospitality focus, the development includes exclusive residential units, designer retail spaces, and a helipad to facilitate elite travel. The 2019 opening marked a significant boost for the local economy and positioned the country as a leading nautical destination in the Mediterranean. Spanning approximately 26 hectares, the resort successfully integrates traditional coastal aesthetics with modern sustainable building practices. The project provides over 700 permanent jobs, making it one of the largest private sector employers in the coastal region.
