Ravna Planina has developed in recent years into one of the most dynamic tourist destinations near Sarajevo. The highlight is the modern gondola lift that takes visitors from the foot of the mountain to the summit, from where an extension to the famous Jahorina ski center is planned. In winter, the ski area gives perfectly groomed slopes with floodlights for night skiing, which is particularly popular with residents of the capital. In summer, Ravna Planina transforms into a leisure center for nature lovers. Two artificial lakes have been created at the summit, serving not only for snowmaking in winter but also as swimming lakes with crystal-clear water and lounging areas in summer. There are numerous hiking trails, mountain bike tracks, and a climbing park for children. The gastronomic offer is centered on the restaurant at the gondola's base, serving local specialties such as veal under the 'sač' and Bosnian coffee. Thanks to its proximity to Pale (3 km) and Sarajevo (20 km), Ravna Planina is a convenient spot for a day trip to escape the city's summer heat or to spend an active day of skiing.
