Bweyogerere Industrial Park is located in the Wakiso District, just a few kilometers east of Kampala's city center. It was developed by the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) to encourage the establishment of small and medium-sized enterprises as well as larger manufacturing plants. Spanning an area of about 50 hectares, the park hosts companies from the pharmaceutical, food processing, and logistics sectors. Its location directly on the main highway to Jinja provides excellent transport links for raw materials and finished products. Many of the companies based here supply the local Ugandan market with essential goods and contribute to domestic value addition. The park is an example of government efforts to facilitate orderly economic development through zoned industrial areas. Its proximity to Namboole Stadium and other urban centers ensures a steady availability of labor.
