Revoz Car Factory
Revoz d.d. in Novo Mesto is Slovenia's only automobile factory and one of the country's largest exporters. The plant's history dates back to 1958, when it was founded as Industrija motornih vozil (IMV). Since 2004, the company has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of the French Renault Group. The facility specializes in the production of small cars, including successful models such as the Renault Clio and Renault Twingo. Revoz is distinguished by its highly automated production and efficient logistics processes, with the plant consistently ranking among the best in the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi quality assessments. The factory is a vital employer in the Dolenjska region and works closely with numerous local suppliers. Beyond vehicle assembly, Revoz operates its own pressing shop and plastics manufacturing unit. In recent years, the company has increased its investment in electric vehicle production to meet the demands of modern mobility.
