Visiting
The refinery is not open to the public as an active industrial facility, but can be viewed from outside. Along the surrounding roads and from the Danube, the characteristic cooling towers and installations are clearly recognizable.
Where to view it
An excellent viewpoint is the Danube riverside promenade east of the plant, from which the entire facility can be seen. The observation deck on Devín Hill also provides a wide view of the refinery and the Bratislava port.
