Europos Parkas is a fascinating open-air museum established in 1991 by Lithuanian artist Gintaras Karosas, located near the exact geographical center of Europe. Across 55 hectares of dense woodland, nature and monumental contemporary art merge harmoniously. The museum now hosts over 100 large-scale sculptures and installations by artists from more than 30 different countries, including works by renowned sculptors such as Magdalena Abakanowicz and Sol LeWitt. One of the most famous artworks is the world's largest television labyrinth, a massive construction made of around 3,000 old TV sets designed to reflect the information age. Another highlight is a visitor information center built into the ground in the shape of a giant egg. The park invites visitors to wander along winding forest paths, allowing them to closely interact with the artworks while enjoying the tranquility of the Lithuanian natural landscape.
The most pleasant time to visit is Jun–Aug.
