Burbiškis Manor
Burbiškis Manor, located in the Radviliškis district, is an outstanding example of the blend of architecture and landscape design in Lithuania. The estate was built in the Neoclassical style during the 19th century by the Baženskis family and is best known today for its spectacular landscape park. The park features a sophisticated system of canals and 15 islands connected by elegant bridges. Every May, the manor hosts a famous Tulip Festival, where over 400 different varieties of tulips are in full bloom, attracting visitors from all over the country. The renovated manor house now serves as a museum documenting the life of the Lithuanian nobility in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The interior exhibits include original furniture, hunting trophies, and historical photographs. Burbiškis is not only a place of tranquility and beauty but also a significant monument to Lithuania's rich manor culture, meticulously preserved for future generations.
