The Saadi Tomb, also known as Saadieh, is the resting place of the famous 13th-century Persian poet Saadi, located in Shiraz. The current structure was built between 1950 and 1952 based on the plans of Iranian architect Mohsen Foroughi, blending traditional Persian elements with modern architectural styles. The octagonal mausoleum is topped by a characteristic turquoise dome and decorated with calligraphies and inscriptions from Saadi's works. Saadi is best known for his masterpieces Golestan and Bustan, which convey moral and social teachings. The complex is situated in the middle of an extensive garden with ponds and cypress trees, adhering to the aesthetic principles of Persian gardening.
