Weather…

The Nádasdy Mansion in Nádasdladány is a magnificent example of English Tudor-style Neo-Gothic architecture in Hungary. Built between 1873 and 1876 based on the designs of István Linzbauer for Count Ferenc Nádasdy, the mansion was technologically pioneering for its time. It featured central heating, gas lighting, and a complex internal communication system. One of its most impressive rooms is the Ancestors' Hall (Ősök Csarnoka), decorated with full-length portraits of the family's historical figures and elaborate wood carvings. The mansion's library houses a valuable collection of books, reflecting the scholarly interests of the noble family. Following an extensive renovation, the building has been restored to its original glory and now serves as a museum showcasing the aristocratic lifestyle of the 19th century.
