Weather…

Banski Dvor in Banja Luka is a magnificent monumental building that currently serves as the city's most important cultural center. The palace was constructed between 1931 and 1932 during the period of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia as the official residence for the Ban (governor) of the Vrbas Banovina. The architectural style blends Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque elements with touches of Art Deco and Serbian-Byzantine influences. It was designed by Belgrade-based architects Italo Villa and Jovanka Bončić-Katerinić. The interior is renowned for its opulent halls, which are used for concerts, exhibitions, and ceremonial events today. Although the palace suffered damage during World War II, it was meticulously restored in the post-war era. Today, Banski Dvor houses a concert hall, a cinema, and various offices for cultural institutions. It remains a central symbol of the history and cultural identity of Banja Luka.
