Ninglinspo Valley (Belgium)

Weather…

The Ninglinspo Valley, located in the Walloon Ardennes near Nonceveux, gives an extraordinary natural experience as the home of Belgium's only true mountain torrent. Over a distance of just three kilometers, the wild Ninglinspo stream drops a remarkable 200 meters in altitude. Over millennia, the fast-flowing water has carved spectacular ravines, small waterfalls, and natural rock pools, known as 'Cuves' (tubs), out of the hard quartzite rock. Several of these easy on the eye pools bear mythological names, such as the 'Bath of Diana' or the 'Bath of Venus'. The hiking trail that runs alongside the river is widely regarded as one of the most adventurous and beautiful in all of Belgium. Equipped with sturdy footwear, hikers must navigate wooden bridges, narrow walkways, and smooth boulders. During the summer, the cool, tree-shaded rock pools invite visitors for a refreshing dip.
