The Pic de la Sella de les Ones is an impressive mountain peak in the eastern Pyrenees of Andorra, reaching an elevation of 2,818 meters. It is located directly on the border between the principality and France, within the Cirque dels Pessons massif. The mountain's morphology is characterized by sharp ridges and glacial erosion features, giving it a very alpine appearance. Geologically, the summit is composed of resistant granite, typical of the Central Pyrenees. The name 'Sella de les Ones' refers to the wave-like structure of the mountain ridge. Due to its exposed position, the mountain is often subjected to strong winds and extreme weather conditions. Botanically, specialized pioneer plants can be found surviving in rock crevices. Historically, the mountain was often used by climbers as a technical training ground for more difficult tours in the Western Pyrenees.
