Pic de les Broues is a 2,630-meter-high peak in northwestern Andorra, located in the rugged mountain world of the parish of Ordino. It is situated in a region characterized by deep valleys and steep rock formations, far from the crowded tourist centers. Geologically, the mountain is distinguished by a combination of slate and quartzite, leading to interesting light reflections on the rock surfaces. The ascent features spectacular views of the Valira del Nord valley and surrounding high peaks such as Pic de Font Blanca. The region's flora includes typical high-mountain species like monkshood and various gentian types that bloom in the summer months. For hikers, Pic de les Broues represents a challenging goal that requires sure-footedness and good physical condition. The name 'Broues' in the local dialect refers to the scrubland or heather that covers the lower slopes of the mountain.
