This easily accessible lake is typically reached via a short, straightforward trail starting directly from the Pas de la Casa area. It is one of the easiest alpine bodies of water to visit.
Best season

Terrain & paths
The path is relatively flat, uncomplicated, and traverses open grassy areas near the border, making it an excellent choice for a gentle stroll. No technical hiking skills are required.
What to bring
Basic, comfortable walking shoes are usually quite sufficient for this short excursion during the warm summer months. Always bring a light windbreaker, as the high passes are notoriously breezy.
