Water temperature…
Želiezovce, harmoniously located in the Hron River valley in the sun-drenched south of Slovakia, is a town that shines primarily through its unexpectedly rich musical history. The undisputed heart of the town is the Neo-Classical Esterházy Castle, surrounded by one of the most beautiful English landscape parks in Slovakia. In this idyllic park, the world-famous composer Franz Schubert spent his summers in 1818 and 1824 as the music teacher to the Esterházy daughters. The Owl House (Soví zámeček) within the park, where Schubert resided, now houses a unique memorial museum. In addition to this musical aura, Želiezovce is a strong agricultural center known for its excellent viticulture and fruit growing, offering a peaceful refuge for those seeking relaxation away from large tourist crowds.
