Russky Bridge (Russia)

Weather…

The Russky Bridge in Vladivostok is a masterpiece of modern engineering and one of the most impressive bridges in the world. Built specifically for the 2012 APEC summit, it connects the Asian metropolis of Vladivostok across the Eastern Bosphorus strait to the offshore Russky Island. With an incredible main span of 1,104 meters, it broke the world record for the longest cable-stayed bridge on Earth upon its completion. Its two gigantic pylons, shaped like the letter 'A', soar 324 meters into the sky, ranking among the tallest bridge pillars globally. The structure has become not only a crucial transportation hub but also a new landmark for Russia's burgeoning Pacific region. At night, the bridge is spectacularly illuminated in the national colors of Russia, making it an exceptionally popular subject for photography.
