Mantovo Lake is an artificial reservoir in southeastern North Macedonia, created in 1978 following the construction of a dam on the Kriva Lakavica River. The lake covers an area of approximately 4.5 square kilometers and reaches a maximum depth of 40 meters. It was originally established to provide irrigation for the agricultural lands in the Strumica Valley and to supply water to the nearby Bučim mine. Today, the lake has evolved into a popular recreational destination known for its easy on the eye surroundings and opportunities for fishing and water sports.
