Situated in the center of the country, the plateau is highly accessible from the capital city via well-maintained main routes heading toward Orhei. Visitors can easily reach the central geological features by car or local transit.
Best season
The region is remarkably favorable year-round, though spring and autumn beautifully highlight the deep river valleys with seasonal colors. Summers are generally warm and sunny, making early mornings the best time for walks.

The landscape features deeply incised river valleys, impressive rocky limestone outcrops, and significantly varied elevations. Trails can range from flat riverside paths to steep, rocky climbs up the sides of the valleys.
What to bring
