Anykščiai Treetop Path (Lithuania)

Weather…

The Anykščiai Treetop Walking Path, the first structure of its kind in the entire Baltic region, is an impressive architectural and ecological attraction within the Anykščiai Regional Park. The 300-meter-long wood and steel walkway winds gently upwards through the dense canopy of a majestic pine forest, allowing visitors to experience nature from a bird's-eye perspective. The path culminates in a 34-meter-high observation tower, the design of which is inspired by the patterns of traditional Lithuanian weaving looms. From the top platform, a wide-open panorama unfolds over the deeply incised Šventoji River valley, the seemingly endless treetops, and the distant church spires of Anykščiai town. Along the route, interactive info boards educate visitors about the local flora and fauna, as well as classic Lithuanian poetry that celebrates the region. The structure blends harmoniously with the landscape, providing an unforgettable nature experience for all ages.
