The traditional zoo is situated extremely centrally in the bustling city of Vitebsk, making it exceptionally convenient for families to reach easily on foot, via a very short taxi ride, or by using the local public transport buses.
Best season
It remains fully open throughout the entire year; however, longer visits during the much warmer spring and summer months are noticeably more pleasant for most guests taking an extended outdoor walk between the animal enclosures.
Terrain & paths
The many pathways totally inside the zoological garden are almost completely flat, well-paved, or very firmly compacted, providing remarkably easy access for families using strollers or those with slightly limited personal mobility.
What to bring
