The Radziwill Palace in Stolin, located within the historic Mankavichi Park, was once a magnificent residence belonging to one of Eastern Europe's most powerful noble dynasties. Built around 1885 by Maria de Castellane-Radziwill in an elegant Neoclassical style, it replaced earlier manor houses on the estate. The palace featured numerous opulent halls, an extensive library, and a valuable art collection that reflected the family's prestige and cultural influence. It was surrounded by a vast landscape park, established in the late 19th century, which remains famous today for its exotic tree species and harmonious layout. Tragically, the palace was almost completely destroyed in 1943 during the Second World War, leaving only foundations and auxiliary buildings behind. Despite this loss, the site remains an important cultural landmark, preserving the memory of the aristocratic heritage in the Polesie region.
