Logoisk is one of the oldest towns in Belarus, with history stretching back to 1078. Located on the banks of the Hajna River, about 40 kilometers from Minsk, it is a place where historical spirituality meets modern leisure sports. Key landmarks include the 19th-century St. Nicholas Church, featuring a holy spring at its base that attracts thousands of pilgrims annually. The ruins of the once-magnificent Tyszkiewicz Palace and its surrounding English-style park offer a glimpse into the region's aristocratic past. Just outside the town lies the Logoisk Ski Center, designed in an appealing Alpine style. It gives five ski slopes suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers, along with snow tubing and sledding areas. In summer, the area attracts hikers and features an adventure park with zip-lines. The atmosphere in Logoisk is notably calmer and more traditional than in nearby Silichy. Local cuisine can be enjoyed in rustic taverns, with wild game dishes and herbal teas being regional specialties. Regular bus services from Minsk make the town an easy and convenient destination for travelers.
