Dalhinava (commonly known as Dolginovo) is a historic village in the Vileyka District of the Minsk Region, Belarus. It was first mentioned in historical records in 1443 as part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Over the centuries, Dalhinava developed into a significant commercial hub and a thriving Jewish 'shtetl,' where Jewish residents formed the majority of the population before World War II. The village's cultural heritage is reflected in its religious landmarks, such as the Catholic Church of St. Stanislaus, built in 1853, and the Orthodox Trinity Church. During the Nazi occupation in World War II, the local Jewish community was almost entirely systematically destroyed, a tragic history now marked by several memorials. Geographically, the village is situated in the hilly terrain typical of the northern Minsk Region. Today, Dalhinava remains a quiet rural center that has preserved its historic street layout and traditional wooden housing, also being known for its local markets.
