Oleksandriya Dendropark (Ukraine)

Weather…

The Oleksandriya Dendropark in Bila Tserkva was established in 1788 by the Polish Countess Alexandra Branicka. Covering approximately 297 hectares, it is one of the largest and oldest landscape parks in Eastern Europe. The park was designed in the English Classicism style, characterized by a harmonious blend of architecture and nature. Famous structures such as the 'Echo' Colonnade, the Chinese Bridge, and the Ruins give the park its distinctive romantic character. The arboretum houses over 2,500 plant species, including many centuries-old oaks and exotic tree varieties. Located on the banks of the Ros River, the park cleverly integrates the river's waterways into its scenic landscape. As a scientific institution of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Oleksandriya is dedicated to researching plant acclimatization while remaining a popular destination for cultural tourism.
