Willisau is located in the northwest of the canton of Lucerne at the foot of the Napf region. The town was formed by the merger of the municipalities of Willisau Stadt and Willisau Land in 2006. The historic core of this small town is a monument of national significance, impressing with its cohesive medieval architecture.
