The completely undeveloped coastline is extremely difficult to access from the landward side and is typically reached, if at all, by local fishermen or highly specialized convoys crossing the desert.

Time needed
A stay on this rugged stretch of coast is usually very brief, before the complete lack of protective infrastructure firmly forces travelers to begin the long, grueling journey back inland.
