The state-of-the-art Samsung Electronics plant in Galanta is one of the largest and most crucial consumer electronics production facilities in all of Europe. Since commencing operations in 2002, the factory has expanded rapidly and represents the largest South Korean direct investment in Slovakia. The facility primarily focuses on manufacturing technologically advanced premium products, most notably large-screen QLED, Neo QLED, and Micro-LED televisions destined for the European market. Beyond the extensive assembly halls, the massive complex in Galanta also houses a strategically vital European logistics center, from which the innovative devices are swiftly and efficiently distributed to dozens of countries. Samsung's sustained presence has fundamentally transformed the local economy, creating thousands of jobs and establishing a robust network of local supplier companies throughout the region.
