West Siberian Plain

The West Siberian Plain stands as one of the world's most massive and extraordinarily flat expanses of land, stretching as a seemingly endless basin between the Ural Mountains and the Yenisey River. Its exceptionally low gradient impedes drainage, resulting in a landscape dominated by vast, impenetrable wetlands and peat bogs, most notably the colossal Vasyugan Swamp.
