Port of Novorossiysk

The Port of Novorossiysk is by far the largest and most strategically important commercial port of the Russian Federation on the Black Sea. Founded in the 1840s, the port has evolved into one of Europe's leading maritime hubs, capable of operating ice-free year-round thanks to the milder climate. As the deepest port basin in the region, Novorossiysk has the capacity to handle massive supertankers and modern container ships.
