Getting there
Thoddoo Beach is located on the island of the same name in the North Ari Atoll. Access is typically via speedboat from Malé, which takes about 1.2 to 2 hours, or by the much slower but more affordable local public ferry.
Best season
The best time to visit is during the dry season from November to April, when the ocean is calm and the water is crystal clear. During the southwest monsoon from May to October, rain is more frequent, but the island remains beautiful.
Terrain & paths
The island is large and flat by Maldivian standards, characterized by agricultural areas and the famous white coral sand beach. The transition into the sea is gentle, with an offshore house reef first-rate for snorkeling sessions.
