The sculptures depict a variety of characters from rich Lithuanian mythology and folklore, including cunning devils, powerful witches, dragons, and heroes from ancient folk tales. The winding path through the forest provides visitors with a fairy-tale experience that exudes a mystical atmosphere, especially in the dappled shade of the tall trees. The park is expanded and restored annually, as the harsh maritime climate takes its toll on the wooden carvings. During the summer solstice, traditional celebrations are held here, reviving ancient pagan customs and rituals.
