Kecskemét Great Church
The Great Church of Kecskemét, officially the Co-Cathedral of the Ascension of the Lord, is the largest church in the Great Plain region between the Danube and Tisza rivers. It was constructed between 1774 and 1806 in the Late Baroque (Zopf) style, following the plans of architect Boldizsár Fischer. The church's impressive dimensions include a length of 62 meters and a tower rising to 73 meters, making it the tallest building in Kecskemét's historic center.
