The scenic falls are highly accessible and conveniently located within the popular Mantenga Nature Reserve, featuring clearly marked directional signs leading straight from the main paved road.
Best season
The cascading waterfall is undeniably most spectacular during the rainy summer months when water volume peaks, although the dry winter months offer excellent, much clearer weather for extended hiking.
Terrain & paths
The primary path leading down to the main viewing deck is well-maintained and mostly flat, making it easily manageable. Secondary trails venturing closer to the riverbanks feature uneven natural rocks.
What to bring
Comfortable walking shoes equipped with good traction are recommended for exploring the dirt trails. Visitors often bring a camera to capture the memorable plunge and a light jacket to block the mist.

A secure, officially designated parking area is readily available directly at the reserve's main entrance gate. The facility is well-organized and generally guarded by staff during normal opening hours.
Safety
Visitors are strongly advised to remain strictly on the designated viewing pathways and respect the sturdy wooden barriers. Swimming directly beneath the powerful falls is strictly prohibited and dangerous.
