Ezulwini lies in the valley of the same name between Mbabane and Lobamba in the Hhohho District and is regarded as the tourism heart of Eswatini. The name means 'Valley of Heaven' and indeed the valley impresses with its gentle green mountains, crystal-clear streams and the mild climate at about 700 meters elevation. Here are the country's most luxurious hotels, including the historic Royal Swazi Spa Hotel with its casino, golf course and mineral springs, whose hot waters have attracted visitors from around the world for decades. The valley is also dotted with craft villages such as Manzini Market, Swazi Candles Workshop and Mantenga Cultural Village. The latter provides authentic insights into traditional Swazi village life with beehive huts and Sibhaca dance performances. At the valley entrance lies Mantenga Nature Reserve with the famous Mantenga Falls. Ezulwini is also home to several foreign embassies, international NGOs and conference centers, making it a political hub. The climate gives mild summers and cool winters. The mix of royal tradition (the Lozitha Palace nearby), modern tourism, art and nature makes Ezulwini an unforgettable destination in southern Africa.
