Našice is located in the historic region of Slavonia, on the northern slopes of the Krndija mountain. The town is best known as the ancestral seat of the Pejačević noble family, who significantly shaped the area's development for centuries. Its most prominent landmark is the Neoclassical Pejačević Castle, built in 1812 and surrounded by a magnificent English-style park featuring a scenic artificial lake. This castle was the residence of Dora Pejačević, the first prominent female Croatian composer. Alongside the main palace stands the 'Small Castle,' a late 19th-century Neoclassical structure. Našice also features an important Franciscan monastery, founded in the 13th century, which preserves a priceless historical library. Today, the town serves as a regional industrial hub, particularly for cement production and viticulture. The fusion of aristocratic legacy, religious tradition, and Slavonian hospitality makes Našice a cultural highlight of Eastern Croatia.
