From mid June to September the Cultural Summer fills the southern town of Gradac and the whole Makarska Riviera with concerts, klapa evenings, fishermen nights and seaside food stalls.

Gradac is the southernmost municipality on the bustling Makarska Riviera, boasting one of the longest and most beautiful pebble beaches on the entire Adriatic coast, Gornja Vala. An old tower from the 17th century serves as a reminder of the times of battles against the Ottomans.
