Spreča River
The Spreča River is a significant right bank tributary of the Bosna River in northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, stretching approximately 137.5 kilometers in length. It originates near the village of Snagovo near Zvornik and flows primarily westward through the densely populated Tuzla basin. A prominent feature of the river's course is Lake Modrac, an artificial reservoir created in the 1960s, which serves as a crucial water source for regional industry and domestic supply. The river's catchment area covers about 2,000 square kilometers, characterized by a mix of industrial activity and agricultural plains.
