Yaremche is the most famous tourist center in the Ukrainian Carpathians, picturesquely located on the banks of the Prut River. The town's landmark is the Probiy waterfall, a cascading fall flowing directly under a pedestrian bridge. Adjacent to it is one of the largest souvenir markets in the region, selling traditional Hutsul crafts like embroidered shirts (vyshyvanka), wood carvings, and sheep wool products. For nature lovers, Yaremche features numerous hiking trails, including the path to the Dovbush Rocks, leading to fascinating sandstone formations. The town is also a gateway to the Hutsulshchyna National Park, which protects rich mountain flora and fauna.
