The resort is characterized by an exceptionally wide sandy beach, reaching up to 100 meters in some areas. Unlike other nearby spots, there are no steep stairs to reach the water, making it very family-friendly. The coastline is partially lined with high clay cliffs that offer spectacular photo opportunities. The village has a good mix of modern resorts and simple campsites. In the local cafes, one should definitely try 'Uha', the traditional Ukrainian fish soup. Walks along the cliffside provide sweeping views over the Black Sea. Transportation is mostly via minibus (marshrutka) from Odesa's central station. The season starts in May and ends in September, with August being the warmest month.
