La Chaux-du-Milieu is a municipality in the district of Le Locle in the Canton of Neuchâtel and is located on a high plateau of the Jura at an altitude of approximately 1080 meters. The village image is characterized by the vast areas of the Vallée de la Brévine, which is often referred to as the "Siberia of Switzerland" because extremely low temperatures are measured there in winter.
