The regional park is easily reached from Aarau or Brugg by regional postal buses that regularly serve the hilly Jura landscape. Drivers can quickly reach the area via the main road axes from Zurich or Basel.

Spring in April and May is particularly spectacular due to the cherry blossoms, while autumn has colorful foliage. Hiking is generally very pleasant and recommended from March through late November.
